Removing the power board

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove:
    1. MicroSD card

    2. SIM card tray

      • NOTE: To remove both cards if equipped and no need to remove the blank filler.
    3. base cover

    4. battery

  3. To remove the power board:
    1. Lift the coin cell battery affixed to the computer [1].
    2. Disconnect the power cable from the power board [2].
    3. Remove the M2.0x3.0 screws to release the power board [3].
    4. Lift the power board from the computer [4].
