Installing the speaker
Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
About this task
The following images indicate the location of the speaker and provide a visual representation of the installation procedure.
Steps
- Connect the speaker cable to its connector on the I/O board.
- Align and replace the right speaker into its slot in the palmrest assembly and route the speaker cable along the guide path.
NOTE:The speaker cable is secured with an insulation tape on the touchpad buttons.
