Installing the Palmrest antenna (optional)
Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
About this task
The following images indicate the location of the optional Palmrest antenna and provide a visual representation of the installation procedure.
Steps
- Install the palmrest antenna into its slot on the palmrest assembly.
- Route the antenna cables from underneath the system board along the routing channel.
- Replace the two M2x2.5 screws securing the palmrest antenna to the palmrest assembly.
