Installing the display assembly
Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
About this task
The following images indicate the location of the display assembly and provide a visual representation of the installation procedure.
Steps
- Align and place the display assembly at an convenient angle and replace the two M2.5x4 screws securing the hinges of the display assembly to the palmrest.
- Connect the eDP cable, camera cable and touch sensor cable to the system board.
NOTE:The display cable and sensor daughter board cable are bundled together with tape. Connect the display cable first followed by sensor daughter board cable.
- Replace the eDP bracket on the eDP connector on the system board and replace the two M2x2 screws securing it to the system board.
