Removing the WLAN card
Prerequisites
- Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
- Remove the base cover.
About this task
The following images indicate the location of the WLAN card and provide a visual representation of the removal procedure.
Steps
- Remove the screw (M2x3) that secures the WLAN-card bracket to the system board.
- Lift the WLAN-card bracket from the WLAN card.
- Disconnect the antenna cables from the WLAN card.
- Slide and remove the WLAN card from the WLAN-card slot on the system board.
