Removing the camera (laptop)
Prerequisites
CAUTION:The information in this section is intended for authorized service technicians only.
NOTE: The camera removal procedure is applicable only for Latitude 5340 laptop and not for the 2-in-1 configuration.
- Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
- Remove the base cover.
- Remove the battery.
- Remove the display assembly.
- Remove the display bezel.
- Remove the display hinges.
- Remove the display panel.

Steps
- Peel off the conductive tape that secures the camera cable in place.
- Lift the latch and disconnect the camera cable from the connector on the camera module.
- Carefully pry and lift the camera module from the display back cover.
