Removing the display hinges
Prerequisites
NOTE: The display hinge removal procedure is applicable only for Latitude 5330 laptop and not for the 2-in-1 configuration.
- Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer.
- Remove the base cover.
- Remove the 3-cell battery or 4-cell battery.
- Remove the display assembly.

Steps
- Remove the six (M2.5x3) screws that secure the right and left display hinges to the display back cover.
- Remove the display hinges from the display back cover.
