Removing the solid state drive (SSD) card

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer .
  2. Remove the:
    1. base cover

    2. battery

  3. To remove the SSD card:
    1. Remove the screw that secures the SSD card to the computer [1].
    2. Disconnect the SSD card from the connector on the system board [2].
