Removing the sensor board

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer .
  2. Remove the:
    1. base cover

    2. battery

    3. display assembly

    4. display cover

  3. To remove the sensor board:
    1. Remove the screw that secures the sensor board to the display panel [1].
    2. Peel the adhesive tape that secures the sensor board cable [2].
    3. Open the latch and disconnect the sensor board from the display panel [3].
    4. Lift the sensor board away from the display panel [5].
