Removing the display cable

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer .
  2. Remove the:
    1. base cover

    2. battery

    3. display assembly

    4. display cover

  3. To remove the display cable:
    1. Peel the adhesive tapes [1] [2].
    2. Disconnect the sensor board cable from the display panel [3].
    3. Open the latch and disconnect the display cable from the display panel [4].
    4. Lift the display cable away from the display panel [5].
    5. Release the display cable from the routing channels [6].
