Removing the speakers without antenna
Prerequisites
- Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
- Remove the base cover.
- Remove the battery.
About this task
The following images indicate the location of the speakers and provide a visual representation of the removal procedure.
Steps
- Disconnect the I/O board-cable from the connector on the system board.
- Disconnect the speaker cable from the connector on the system board.
- Unroute the speaker cable from the routing guides on the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
- Remove the speakers from the chassis.
