Removing the memory module

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. microSD card
    2. base cover
  3. Disconnect the battery cable from the connector on the system board.
  4. Pry apart the memory module latches [1].
  5. Lift and remove the memory module from the system board [2].
