Removing the display assembly

1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer.
2. Remove:
   1. battery
   2. base cover
   3. docking board
   4. antenna bracket
   5. WLAN card
   6. WWAN card
   7. heatsink
   8. display cable
3. To remove the hinges:
   1. Remove the screws that secure the display hinge cover [1].
   2. Lift and remove the display hinge cover [2].
   3. Lift and pull the rubber gasket to release the cables routed through the gasket [3].
   4. Remove the screws that secure the display hinges [4].
   5. Flip the computer chassis [5].
   
4. To remove the display assembly:
   1. Unlock the display [1].
   2. Lift the display to remove it from the computer chassis [2].
