Removing touchpad

1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the:
   1. base cover
   2. battery
   3. speaker
3. To remove the touchpad cable:
   1. Lift the latch, and disconnect the touchpad cable from the connector on the touchpad [1].
   2. Peel off the adhesive-backed cable to release it from the touchpad [2].
   3. Remove the adhesive tape that secures the touchpad bracket to the touchpad [3].
      
4. To remove touchpad metal bracket:
   1. Remove the 5 M2X2 screws and one M2x3 screw that secure the metal bracket to the system.
      
   2. Lift the metal bracket away from the system [3]
      
5. Remove the touchpad from the computer.
