Removing keyboard
- Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
- Remove the:
- Disconnect the keyboard cable from the connector on the system board [1].
- Hold the sides of the palm rest securely while pushing into the two
release holes using a plastic scribe or screwdriver [2].
- Pry the bottom of
the keyboard using a plastic scribe to the release the keyboard [1]
and slide the keyboard outwards to remove it [2].
