NOTE: NVMe FIPS SED drive is supported for F600 and F900 nodes in OneFS 9.3.0.0. Downgrading nodes with these drives to an earlier OneFS version renders them inoperable.
NOTE:The 15 TB and 30 TB QLC with noncertified SEDs for new node pools is supported for F600 and F900 in OneFS 9.4.0.9 or later. The OneFS 9.4.0.9 or later version is required for SED-Non-FIPS nodes. If a cluster is running a version earlier than 9.4.0.9, SED-Non-FIPS nodes fail to join the cluster.
NOTE:Access to the 1 GbE Management port for F200/F600/F900 requires OneFS version 9.4.0.3 or later. If the nodes were shipped with an older OneFS version, a one-time configuration change might also be required to enable management port access even if the node is upgraded to OneFS 9.4.0.3 or later. However, 1 GbE Management ports are not available on F200 nodes that are obtained before 6 December 2022.

Isilon Generation 6 nodes

The following are Isilon Generation 6 platforms. Generation 6 node types require OneFS 8.1.0 and later releases.

  • F-Series (F800, F810)
  • H-Series (H400, H500, H600, H5600)
  • A-Series (A200, A2000)
NOTE:An exact version number indicates the minimum version of OneFS that is required.
