This section presents guidelines for OneFS hardware configurations.

Leaf-Spine clusters

Leaf-Spine networking on OneFS version 8.2, and later clusters require Dell Z9100-ON switches:

  • 12 Z9100-ON Leaf turns on the front-end (external) network.

  • 5 Z9100-ON Spine turns on the back-end (internal) network.
