Configure anonymous access to a single SMB share
You can configure anonymous access to data stored on a single share through Guest user impersonation.

Enable the Guest user account in the access zone that contains the share you want by running the
isi auth users modify command.
The following command enables the guest user in the access zone named zone3:
isi auth users modify Guest --enabled=yes --zone=zone3

Set guest impersonation on the share you want to allow anonymous access to by running the
isi smb share modify command.
The following command configures guest impersonation on a share named share1 in zone3:
isi smb share modify share1 --zone=zone3 \ --impersonate-guest=always

Verify that the Guest user account has permission to access the share by running the
isi smb share permission list command.
The following command list the permissions for share1 in zone3:
isi smb share permission list share1 --zone=zone3
The system displays output similar to the following example
