Troubleshooting SyncIQ encryption
If you are unable to configure the SyncIQ encryption, check the report of the SyncIQ policy in question and follow the troubleshooting tips given below to fix the issue.
- If the failure is due to a Transport Layer Security (TLS) authentication failure, you can find the error message from TLS library in the report.
- If it is a TLS authentication failure, detailed information can be found at
/var/log/messages on the source and target clusters. The detailed information includes:
- The ID of the certificate that caused the failure
- The subject name of the certificate that caused the failure
- The depth at which the failure occurred in the certification chain
- The error code and the reason for the failure
