Quickstart

To get started with CloudPools, follow these steps.

1. Perform initial setup tasks described in CloudPools setup tasks. Topics include licensing, setting up an optional proxy server, and reviewing and modifying the default configuration settings.
2. Choose your cloud provider, set up provider accounts, and define cloud storage pools. See Providers, CloudPool accounts, and storage pools.
3. Create file pool policies that define the files to archive and monitor the resulting file pool policy jobs. See File pool policies for CloudPools.
4. Access archived files as described in Retrieving file data from the cloud.
