Breakout types
Breakouts provide information on the individual components within modules.
Table 1. Breakout descriptions
Breakout
Description
Cached Data Type
Reports data by user data and metadata.
Client
Reports data by individual client. Only clients with the most activity are represented in the data that is displayed.
Direction
Reports data by the direction of cluster throughput. Only available in performance modules.
Disk
Reports data by individual disk.
Event
Reports data by individual network interface.
Interface
Reports data by individual network interface.
Job ID
The numeric ID of a job.
Job Type
The name of a job type.
Node
Reports data by individual node. Nodes are identified by their logical node number (LNN).
Node (devid)
Reports data by individual node. Nodes are identified by their device ID.
Node Pool
Breaks out data by node pool.
NOTE
- This breakout is available only for clusters running OneFS 7.1 or later.
- For clusters running OneFS 7.1.1 or earlier, accelerator nodes and unprovisioned nodes are grouped under the
Unclassified node pool.
Op Class (Operation Class)
Reports data by the type of operation performed. The following operation types are supported:
- Read - file and stream reading
- Write - file and stream writing
- Create - file, link, node, stream, and directory creation
- Delete - file, link, node, stream, and directory deletion
- Namespace Read - attribute, statistic, ACL read, lookup, and directory read
- Namespace Write - rename, set attribute, set permission, time, and write ACL
- File State - open, close, lock, acquire, release, break, check, and notify.
- Session State - negotiate, inquire, and change protocol connections and sessions
- Other - file system information and other operations that are not categorized.
Path
Reports data by individual file name or directory name.
Protocol
Reports data by protocol (for example, NFS).
