Reinstall InsightIQ

Reinstall InsightIQ after uninstalling InsightIQ.

Reinstalling InsightIQ in this manner allows the settings and datastore to persist in the new instance.

  1. Obtain the InsightIQ installation script from the InsightIQ product page on the Dell Support site in .sh format and download the file to the Linux system or virtual machine.
  2. On the Linux system or virtual machine, reinstall InsightIQ by running the following command, where <path> is the file path of the .sh installation script: 
    sudo sh <path>
