InsightIQ deletes earlier data when a datastore runs out of disk capacity.

When the InsightIQ datastore fills the storage capacity of the disk, InsightIQ deletes the earliest data until storage capacity has increased. If multiple clusters are monitored, InsightIQ favors deletion of the earliest data among all the clusters.

> 5 GB	Capacity is good. No Alerts. InsightIQ has the required datastore disk capacity. InsightIQ cancels any preexisting alerts about datastore disk capacity limits. InsightIQ monitors the cluster.
1–5 GB	Alert sent. InsightIQ alerts the user that the datastore disk capacity limit is at risk. These alerts continue until datastore disk capacity changes. InsightIQ monitors the cluster.
< 1 GB	Delete oldest data. Alerts sent. InsightIQ tries to delete the oldest datastore summary data. If InsightIQ cannot delete datastore data, it suspends monitoring of the cluster.
