Modify a user account password
Modify the password of a user account.
About this task
The administrator can modify the password of a user account in the InsightIQ web application.
NOTE: Users cannot modify passwords for their accounts.
Steps

In the InsightIQ web application, click the
Settings tab.

Click
Users on the
Settings ribbon.
The
Read-Only Users view appears and shows a list of all configured users.

In the
Actions column, for the user whose password you want to modify, click
Change Password.
The
Change Password dialog box appears.

In the
New password field, type a new password for the user.

In the
Confirm password field, retype the new password for the user.
Make a note of the password you configured. InsightIQ does not enable the administrator or user accounts to retrieve a lost password.

Submit.
