Environment and system requirements

The PowerProtect DP Series Appliance requires the following system requirements to configure and run.

  • PowerProtect DP Series Appliance 2.6 and later versions support both Secure LDAP and External LDAP.
  • Open LDAP 2.6 and later.
  • Microsoft Active Directory on Windows Server 2008 R2 and/or Windows Server 2012 R2.
If available, configure the Secure Connect Gateway (Centralized configuration) 5.14.00.10 or later.
2.7.4 A supported LDAP server for Search
  • PowerProtect DP Series Appliance 2.6 and later versions support both Secure LDAP and External LDAP.
  • Open LDAP 2.6 and later.
  • Microsoft Active Directory on Windows Server 2008 R2 and/or Windows Server 2012 R2.
If available, configure the Secure Connect Gateway (Centralized configuration) 5.14.00.10 or later.
