Procedure

  1. Align the system board with the slots on the chassis and place the system board in position.
  2. Replace the eight screws (6-32UNCx6.3) that secure the system board to the chassis.
  3. Route the front chassis-fan cable, USB 3.0 cable, SATA0 cable, USB 3.1 (Type-C) cable, SATA1 cable, USB 2.0 cable, power-supply unit cable, light-bar cable, power-button board cable, processor-power cable, light-bar cable, front-audio cable through their routing guides and connect the cables to their respective connectors on the system board.
  4. Place the computer in an upright position.
