Procedure

NOTE Note the routing of the cables while removing the power-supply unit so that you can replace them correctly.

NOTE Remove the cables from the routing guides on the chassis to avoid potential damage to the cables.

NOTE Disconnect the power cables from their extensions.

Lay the computer on the left side and remove the two screws (6-32UNCx6.3) that secure the power-supply unit cover to the chassis (Only for computers shipped with clear door).
Slide the power-supply unit cover towards the front of the chassis and lift it off the chassis (Only for computers shipped with clear door).
Press the securing clip and disconnect the power-supply unit cable from the processor-power cable.
Press the securing clip and disconnect the power-supply unit cable from the system board cable.
Disconnect the power cable from the hard-disk cable.
Disconnect the power cable from the optical-drive cable.
Remove the four screws (6-32UNCx6.3) that secure the power-supply unit to the chassis.
Press the clamp and slide the power-supply unit towards the front of the chassis and lift the power-supply unit, along with the cables, off the chassis.
