Removing the media-card reader

  2. Remove the left-side cover.
  3. Remove the front cover.

Steps

  1. Remove the screw (6-32) that secures the media-card reader bracket to the chassis.
  2. Using the screw and the screw-driver push against the media-card reader to release it from the chassis.
  3. Slide and lift the media-card reader and its bracket off the system board.
