Procedure

Slide the ports on the system board into the slots on the display-assembly base and place the system board on the display-assembly base.
Align the screw holes on the system board with the screw holes on the display-assembly base.
Replace the screws that secure the system board to the display-assembly base.
Connect the display-backlight cable to its connector on the system board.
Slide the control-buttons board and display cables into its connectors on the system board and press down on the latches to secure the cables.
Connect the speaker, touch-control board, hard-drive data cable, and optical-drive data, hard-drive and optical-drive power, fan, and microphone and camera cables to its connectors on the system board.
