Procedure

  1. Lift the latch and disconnect the control-buttons board cable from the system board.
  2. Note the control-buttons board cable routing and peel it off from its routing guides on the display-assembly base.
  3. Using your fingertips, press the securing clips on the control-buttons board slot.
  4. Lift the control-buttons board off the display bezel.
  5. Lift the latch and disconnect the control-buttons board cable from the control-buttons board.
