Procedure

  1. Disconnect the power and data cable from the hard drive.
  2. Remove the screw that secures the hard-drive assembly to the display-assembly base.
  3. Using your fingertips, slide the hard-drive assembly out of the hard-drive bay.

  4. Remove the screws that secure the hard-drive bracket to the hard drive.
