Procedure

  1. Remove the display cable from the routing guide inside the hinge cover.
  2. Using a plastic scribe, release the tabs that secure the display-panel assembly to the display back-cover and antenna assembly
  3. Lift the display-panel assembly off the display back-cover and antenna assembly.Image: Removing the display panel
  4. Turn the display-panel assembly over and place it on a flat surface with the display facing down.
  5. Remove the camera.
  6. Remove the display cable. After performing the above steps, we are left with the display panel. Image: Display panel
