Procedure

Align the screw holes on the touch pad with the screw holes on the palm-rest assembly.
Replace the screws that secure the touch pad to the palm-rest assembly.
Align the screw holes on the touch-pad bracket with the screw holes on the palm-rest assembly.
Replace the screws that secure the touch-pad bracket to the palm-rest assembly.
Adhere the tapes that secure the touch-pad assembly to the palm-rest assembly.
Slide both ends of the touch-pad cable into their respective connectors and close the latches to secure the cable.
Slide both ends of the keyboard cable into their respective connectors and close the latches to secure the cable.
