Prerequisites
- Remove the base cover.
- Remove the battery.
- Remove the memory modules.
- Remove the solid-state drive.
- Remove the wireless card.
- Remove the fan.
NOTE:Remove the heat sink from the system board only when you want to replace the system board. To replace the keyboard, power button with fingerprint reader, and palm-rest and antenna assembly, remove the system board assembly along with the heat sink.
