Procedure

  1. Peel off the tapes that secure the keyboard shield to the palm-rest assembly.

  2. Remove the 26 screws (M1.4x2) that secure the keyboard shield and the keyboard to the palm-rest assembly.
  3. Lift the keyboard shield off the keyboard.

  4. Remove the eight screws (M1.2x1.5) that secure the keyboard to the palm-rest assembly.
  5. Lift the keyboard off the palm-rest assembly.
