Procedure

  1. Lift the latches and disconnect the keyboard cable and keyboard-backlight cable from the keyboard daughter-board.
  2. Remove the screws that secure the keyboard assembly to the computer base.
  3. Lift the keyboard assembly off the computer base.

  4. Turn the keyboard assembly over and place it on a clean and flat surface.
  5. Pry the keyboard off the keyboard bracket.
  6. Lift the keyboard along with its cables off the keyboard bracket.
