Procedure

  1. Disconnect the touch-pad cable, power-light cable, keyboard-backlight cable, keyboard cable, power-adapter port cable, speaker cable and battery cable from the system board.

  2. Remove the screws that secure the system board to the palm-rest assembly.
  3. Starting from the left, gently lift the system board off the palm-rest assembly.
