Procedure
- Open the latch and disconnect the fingerprint-reader board cable from the I/O board.NOTE This step is applicable only for computers shipped with the optional fingerprint reader.
- Open the latch and disconnect the power-button board cable from the I/O board.
- Open the latch and disconnect the fingerprint-reader cable from the I/O board.NOTE This step is applicable only for computers shipped with the optional fingerprint reader.
- Open the latch and disconnect the I/O-board cable from the I/O board.
- Remove the three screws (M2x4) that secure the I/O board to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
- Lift the I/O board off the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
