Procedure

NOTE Steps 1 and 2 are applicable only if you have disconnected the battery prior to removing other components from your computer.
  1. Connect the battery cable to the system board.
  2. Adhere the tape that secures the battery cable connection to the system board.
  3. Adhere the tape that secures the battery cable to the system board.

  4. Align the base cover with the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
  5. Snap the base cover into place.

  6. Tighten the three captive screws that secure the base cover to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
  7. Replace the 6 screws (M2x7) that secure the base cover to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
