Procedure
- Peel the tape off the heat sink.
- Disconnect the fan cable from the system board. Note the cable routing and remove the fan cable and the antenna cable from the routing guides on the fan.
- Remove the two screws (M2x3) that secure the fan to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
- Lift the fan off the palm-rest and
keyboard assembly.
