Installing the memory modules
Prerequisites
About this task
The following images indicate the location of the memory modules and provide a visual representation of the installation procedure.
Steps
- Align the notch on the memory module with the tab on the memory-module slot on the system board.
- Slide the memory module into the memory-module slot on the system board.
- Press down on the memory module until the securing clips click, locking the memory module in place.
NOTE:Repeat steps 1 to 3 if there is a second memory module to be installed into your computer.
