Removing the power-adapter port

- Remove the SD card.
- Remove the base cover.
- Remove the display assembly.
About this task
The following images indicate the location of the power-adapter port and provide a visual representation of the removal procedure.
Steps
- Remove the two (M2.5x5) screws that secure the right hinge to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
- Disconnect the power-adapter cable from the connector on the system board.
- Lift the power-adapter port from its slot on the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
