Procedure

1. Place the solid-state drive/Intel Optane into the slot on the back of the solid-state drive shield/Intel Optane shield.
2. Replace the screw that secures the solid-state drive/Intel Optane to the solid-state drive shield/Intel Optane shield.
   
3. Align the notch on the solid-state drive/Intel Optane with the tab on the solid-state drive/Intel Optane slot.
4. Slide the solid-state drive/Intel Optane into the solid-state drive/Intel Optane slot.
5. Insert the tab of the solid-state drive/Intel Optane into the slot on the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
6. Tighten the captive screw that secures the solid-state drive shield/Intel Optane shield and solid-state drive/Intel Optane to the palm rest and keyboard assembly.
7. Replace the screw that secures the solid-state drive shield/Intel Optane shield to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
