Removing the I/O board cable

  2. Remove the base cover.
  3. Remove the heat sink.

Steps

  1. Open the latch and disconnect the I/O board cable from its connector on the I/O board.
  2. Open the latch and disconnect the I/O board cable from its connector on the system board.
  3. Lift the I/O board cable off the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
