Procedure

  1. Peel off the two adhesive tapes that secure the touchpad to the keyboard bracket.
  2. Remove the 27 screws (M1.4x2) that secure the keyboard bracket and the keyboard to the palm-rest assembly.
  3. Lift the keyboard bracket off the keyboard.

  4. Remove the six screws (M1.2x1.5) that secure the keyboard to the palm-rest assembly.
  5. Lift the keyboard off the palm-rest assembly.
