Removing the display cable

Prerequisites

NOTE This procedure is not applicable to computers shipped with a WWAN configuration.
  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the base cover.
  3. Remove the battery.
  4. Remove the display assembly.
  5. Remove the display panel.
  6. Remove the display bezel.

  1. Peel off the tape securing the display cable to the back-cover.
  2. Peel the display cable off the display back-cover.
