Installing the display hinges
Prerequisites
NOTE This procedure is not applicable to computers shipped with a WWAN configuration.
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
About this task
The following image indicates the location of display hinges and provides a visual representation of the installation procedure.
Steps
- Align the screw holes on the hinges with the screw holes on the display back-cover.
- Replace the two (M2x2) screws that secure the display hinges to the display back-cover.
- Replace the four (M2.5x2.5) screws to secure the display hinges to the display back-cover.
