Types of licenses

The standard licenses iDRAC Basic or iDRAC Express are available by default on your system. iDRAC Enterprise and Datacenter licenses include all the licensed features and can be purchased at any time. The types of upsell that is offered are:

30-day evaluation—Evaluation licenses are duration-based and the timer runs when power is applied to the system. This license cannot be extended.
Perpetual—The license is bound to the Service Tag and is permanent.

The following table lists the default licenses available on the systems:

NOTE: Express for Blades license is the default license for PowerEdge MX75XX and newer blades and MX chassis servers.
