iDRAC firmware

  • Dell Connectivity Module (DCM) client integration. DCM enables secure and bi-directional connectivity between Dell Cloud and Dell managed assets (APEX only assets).
  • Support for creating optional engine ID for iDRAC.
  • Default timeout for update jobs set to 60 minutes. The Timeout value is also configurable using RACADM or Redfish.
  • Increased cooling fan power width modulation (PWM) on the following PowerEdge systems to prevent BOSS hardware failure:
    • PowerEdge XR11
    • PowerEdge R450
    • PowerEdge R650XS
    • PowerEdge R750
    • PowerEdge R7525
