Intel Coldstream NVMe drives appearing as cryptographic erase capable
- Description
-
While performing LC Wipe, the Intel Coldstream NVMe drives are displayed in the Cryptographic Erase Disks list. These drives do not support cryptographic erase and will report an error in LC Logs if cryptographic erase is attempted.
- Workaround
-
To erase the data from the drive, perform a manual wipe.
